Robert Griffin NFL Draft 2012
Sources indicate that RG3 will most likely end up in Washington or Miami as St. Louis will deal the pick to a team that is desperate for a QB. If either of these teams end up passing on the #2 pick, the Browns could sit back and wait for RG3 to fall in their lap, however this probably won’t happen. Bottom line the Rams are in a tricky spot and they don’t want to loose Justin Blackmon as their potential pick. With all the hype around RG3 after a 4.41 40 time and impressive interviews, the Rams will most likely get an offer that they can’t refuse. After Luck, RG3 will be the second QB taken off the board. Duh….
Redskins: A face to the franchise is needed as McNabb and Grossman didn’t work out. The offensive system would fit nicely with RG3 and Shanahan’s coaching system. As the offense gave up 41 sacks in 2011, RG3 could bring mobility and options to an offense that is built upon QB movement.
Miami: If Peyton doesn’t come to Miami, the Dolphins are as desperate as anyone. With RG3, Bush, Marshall and a young defense in my opinion RG3 makes more sense than Peyton Manning. RG3 would bring new flash to South Beach and energy to the Dolphins. With the addition of a athletic QB Miami could be scary, additionally, the Dolphins haven’t had a Pro-Bowl QB since 1995 and now needs to be the time. RG3 > Matt Flynn
Cleveland: This team needs help in many areas, but mainly offense as they were 29th in yardage and 30th overall scoring points. It all starts with the QB and Colt McCoy has proven he probably isn’t the answer. RG3 would bring many things to a franchise longing to be relevant once again.
