Dodgers 2012 Start of Season
Just over one year ago, Major League Baseball and the Los Angeles Dodgers were under an array of scrutiny as the opening day beating of Giants fan Brian Stow started the season off on a very bad note. To make matters worse, pervious owner and Boston native Frank McCourt continued to run the franchise in turmoil, leading the team to a mediocre overall record of (82-79). However, with a fresh start in 2012, the Dodgers things have redefined their identity quickly. In 2012 new ownership group Guggenheim Baseball Management and former NBA legend Magic Johnson, have taken the team from a state of embarrassment to praise, as the Dodgers boast the best home record in the National League at (15-3) through May 14th. Overall the Dodgers sit atop the NL West by 6 games with a record of (23-11). Led by franchise outfielders Matt Kemp (.359-12-28) and Andre Either (.302-7-32) starting pitchers Clayton Kershaw/ newly acquired Chris Capuano things have turned around quickly at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers could also have the chance to improve their rotation with a few young arms as minor league prospects Zach Lee, Chris Withrow, and Allen Webster could make debuts sooner than later.

Clayton Kershaw Autographed Card Back in Mail
Clayton Kershaw is one of the most dominate lefty pitchers in the game and has been outstanding in LA since making his debut in 2008. During the 2011 season, Kershaw solidified his greatness as a Dodger winning the Cy Young Award and the Pitching Triple Crown. After sending this card to his house in late February, I received this card back in the mail earlier in the month and was pretty stoked. Although he kept two other cards I put into the envelope, just one Kershaw autograph is enough for me and very kind of him; given his autographs high demand. Kershaw is arguably the best player on the Dodgers and 2012 will represent a pivotal year as the rest of the team will rally around the pitcher.
